Chicken is an animal. Chickens, as well as Giant Chickens, were first seen in pre-Alpha. They were showcased during a Kickstarter Weekly Livestream, which took place on Saturday December 6th, 2014. Chickens can be killed and harvested to collect raw meat which can then be cooked on a campfire. Three cooked chicken meats will restore a player's hunger from starving to contented. Players can sell 10 cooked chicken meat to traders for 8 copper.
