I don't talk much, but I'll humor you at the moment.
Who are you?
I'm Samogh the Blacksmith. I've been the sole blacksmith in these here parts since Hubert died in the city when that catastrophe, that event that exiled all of us from our homes happened. We all remember when Tethys was Imprisoned. The Imprisoning we call it. I'm lucky to have lived through it.
What's your story?
I was born in Petra, from a long line of blacksmiths. My family's lived in Petra for generations, since before the Destruction of Aria. I go to sleep, I eat, there's nothing else to it. I live a simple life of a metalworker, and I will till my dyin' days. That's all there is.

Why are you a blacksmith?
Well, my father was a blacksmith, his father was a blacksmith, and his father was a blacksmith, and so on. I come from a long line of the family trade... I best not ramble, it's none of your business anyway.

What do you do in your spare time?
Spare time? I have no spare time. Blacksmithing is my spare time. It's all I do. I've been doing this for twenty years, and it's not ending anytime soon. There's always work to be done.

What is this place?
You're in Celador, a part of what's left of the world of Aria. I know little about Aria itself, I was born here in Celador, as everyone has... until recently. As far as we know, nobody's been able to leave, nobody has come here, until recently. There are seers and clarvoyants [sic] who say there are other parts of Aria in existence. I haven't been here. Nobody I know has, and some of us even assume we're all that's left. Only the Gods know. But I believe there are, where else would YOU come from?
