Vigor determines the force you are capable of mustering with your weapon attacks, granting a substantial damage bonus. Vigor also increases the healing done with bandages.
Use
Vigor has an effect on 2 mechanics. It gives a bonus to weapon damage and helps determine how much HP is healed when a bandage is used.
Healing
Below is a table showing roughly how much HP is healed at specific level of Vigor Skill. This assumes the player's healing skill is the same as their vigor skill

Damage bonus
Vigor give a damage bonus equal to the skill level so if you have 100 Vigor you gain a 100% Damage bonus
